Cody’s body was found almost lifeless on the side of the road in Rockwall after being hit by a car and left to die before animal control found him. He was rushed to a local emergency vet where he spent weeks in recovery, and was paralyzed from the waist down. Cody could not even lift his body to use the bathroom or eat on his own and his prognosis was looking very poor, while getting worse each day. We refused to give up and sent Cody into foster care with our Veterinarian where he would receive around the clock care. After two weeks, he began to take steps on his own. He slowly became strong enough to stand for a few minutes at a time and began eating on his own. Within the month, we witnessed a miracle as Cody stood up, wagged his tail, and took off running around the house. It is not without your donations that we were able to give Cody the care that he so desperately needed, and because of you Cody is now living his life to the fullest in a wonderful adoptive home with another dogs to run and play with.
