Harley was taken into the shelter during a freezing storm. He was matted, covered in fleas and wet. Despite his condition Harley crawled in the shelter staff’s lap, with his hands on her should he covered her in kisses. He was cleaned up with a warm bath, Capstar, flea preventative and awaited his owners arrival… but days past by and no one ever came to claim him. A plea was sent out for assistance grooming him and a generous donor offered to sponsor his spa day. He was transported to the groomers and came back several hours later looking like a new man. His heartworm test unfortunately came back positive but thanks to generous donors like you, Harley’s heartworm treatment will be taken care of so we can go on to live a long happy life. While he never lost is sweet temperament despite the neglect he suffered, Harley rode off into the sunset with this foster mom where he is safe and sound awaiting a forever home to call his own.
