Vickie joined the LHS board in 2013 as General Counsel. She will advise the board on a broad range of legal issues facing rescue societies and non-profit organizations. She previously served on the Women’s Finance Exchange Board from 2008-2012, and co-chaired their Philanthropy Committee from 2009-2011. Her legal career began in 2000, and she co-founded her current firm, Coffin & Driver, PLLC, in 2010. Prior to entering practice, she earned her law degree as well as her BA from Baylor in Waco, Texas.
Vickie and her husband Adam became acquainted with rescue when a friend called them to see if they would consider adopting their rescued Golden Retriever when relocated abroad to a country with strict quarantine rules. They took the lovable Willie in, and never turned back. Vickie and her husband currently have two rescued Brussels Griffon at home in Oak Cliff, along with fostering pups through LHS. Vickie looks forward to becoming more involved with LHS and the rescue community at large.
