Meet Mark, Spike and Brewster!
These 3 little guys were brought into our program during the last couple of months. All 3 boys were found as strays and all 3 had been hit by a car!
Mark was the first one we brought in. He had a severe break in his back right leg which required surgery with internal and external pins. Mark is recovering well and is expected to finally get his pins out this week! He will then start his heartworm treatment.
Little Spike was the next lucky one to be saved! He has a broken paw which is expected to heal without the need for surgery. He currently has a lovely splint on to help with his healing.
Finally we have little Brewster! Brewster isn’t as lucky as Spike and will require the same extensive (and expensive) surgery that Mark had. He will have internal pins and external fixtures. His surgery is scheduled for 01/25/12. He has been in the hospital being kept sedated while waiting patiently for his new fixture! He is only 6 months old and just as sweet as can be!
All three of these boys are so sweet but they sure know how to rack up the medical bills! With x-rays, hospital stays, medications and supplies they are quickly becoming the most expensive ortho dogs of 2012!
We would appreciate any help that you can give towards the care for these precious babies! As always your donation is tax deductable! Please donate and share with your friends! 🙂
