The Bickham’s Story:
My co-worker, Natasha Bickham, is a wonderful mother to her two skin children and three fur children. She works hard to take care of her family, all by herself. I have ‘dog sat’ her dogs when she went on vacation, and found them all to be happy, healthy and well-behaved. Unfortunately, about 5 years ago, her unaltered dog Prince chewed his way through the fence and the result was a litter of puppies with the neighbor’s dog. Natasha kept two of the puppies, now named Zoey and Crystal. Natasha has worked very hard over the years to keep Prince separated from Zoey and Crystal when the are in heat so that there are no more litters. Now, she could use some help in having the dogs neutered as low cost options are still difficult to manage when multiplied by three; she could also use help with transport to and from the vet as she works six days a week. There may be other services that LHS can assist with, such as micro-chipping and heart worm testing.
Natasha and her children love their dogs dearly, and vet assistance would help them out immensely.
Prince, Crystal, and Zoey’s needs list:
Spay/Neuter, heartworm test, heartworm prevention, vaccinations and microchip for all three dogs
Prince, Crystal, and Zoey’s wish list:
Food, treats and toys
How to help: We ask that you either make monitary donations via the chip in link and LHS will see to it that the money is used according to the families needs and wishes (i.e. pay vet directly or purchse items and give to them) or you can drop off items on the wish list to: 5593 Emerson Ct, Fairview, TX 75069. Please place on porch and label the bag accordingly (i.e. Family #2) so we know who to give the items to.
Thank you so much for your efforts to uplift and help a family and their fur kids in need this holiday season!! If you have any questions, please email pres@LegacyHumaneSociety.org
