Cosmo’s Story submitted by Ashley:
Hello my name is Ashley and I have a kitten of 7 months who I rescued from a family that was only interested in breeding the cats. Cosmo, my kitten, is one of the best things that has ever happened to me.
I have had a hard past with two alcoholic parents, and raising a little sister. Cosmo saved me. I went through therapy in which my therapist recommended getting a pet of my own. When I rescued him my dad had a good job and we were going to get him shots and neutered, but my dad lost his job and we have been financially struggling.
My dad has suggested giving the cat away since we cannot afford to get his shots or get him neutered in the near future, which needs to be done very soon as he is growing up, but I have gotten so attached to him that I don’t think I can give him up.
He is in a loving home where he gets fed twice a day, is bathed regularly and gets plenty of attention. I really do not want to give him to the shelter where there is a chance of him not finding a good home or even getting put down. Cosmo has changed my life, but if we can’t get him his shots or get him neutered, he will have to leave our home. Please help me keep my kitten.
